| From
the mist of time and till today, sacred scriptures of
all the great spiritual traditions have described the
real dimension of life, the one we can only perceive
transcending our ordinary state of consciousness - our
daily life sate of consciousness. Through mystic literature,
testimonies of people who say they had this inner revelation
have lived on through time to reach us and deliver a
still topical message to those who seek the Truth. These
ordinary men and women who have become extraordinary
examples of spiritual realization claim they set themselves
free living the ultimate experience of transcendence
and tearing the veil that was hiding the true nature
of reality.
Making affirmations is specific to these people whose
consciousness is fully awaken.
Living a mystical experience don't make them say : "
I think, I believe this is the way it is.", but
on the contrary, "Here is what was revealed to
me. It doesn't come from me, but from something infinitely
greater than me. And since it doesn't come from me,
it's not something I think or I believe in, but something
I know. Or more exactly something that my consciousness
knows. For my consciousness recognized in what was revealed
to me the right note, the pure and clear echo of Truth.
Words are only a pale reflection of the experience I
had and they can't carry the meaning of it. They can
at best resonate in other beings consciousness until
they have their own experience and the inner revelation."
However, people who have made or make
these statements have exposed or expose themselves to
the suspicious looks and the slanderous words of the
majority. In the past, you even risked your life if
you dared to pretend you had had this inner revelation
: many were stoned to death, tortured, sentenced to
death and executed simply for daring to say it ! Fortunately,
things have changed today.
But the atmosphere of materialism and pride widely spread
around the world - especially in the West, have driven
the huge majority of human beings away from their spiritual
roots. It also contributes to foster misunderstanding
and intolerance towards Enlightened people. In a world
of illusion, pretence and lies, it is not an easy thing
to go back to the essence, to discern the Truth and
recognize someone who has freed him or herself from
the boundaries of her or his personality and has realized
the Self.
Today many people still find thought-reading
amazing, as well as healing with one's hand or speaking
of one's spiritual experience, one's contact with the
Truth. They are also very suspicious if they hear someone
talking about the inconceivable dimension of love and
peace that lies within each of us. And the fact is that
some people get worried about the influence a woman
or a man could have when her, his words switch on a
light of hope in the heart of those who seek.
Because someone who teaches you how to get rid of all
your conditionings and condemns the hypocrisy, lies
and ignorance that have become mainstream, and especially
when he begins to be listened to, becomes upsetting
for those who don't want to hear these words and clearly
for the whole society. There will be attempts to silence
him. But the Truth can't be hushed up and it can't even
be shaken. As those who don't want a man to tell people
they are free can't attack him in the realm of his teachings,
they will use every possible mean to weaken his influence.
His words will be distorted and accusations which start
to attack him personally.
But in reality nothing can shake a
man or a woman who has experienced transcendence and
has found inner peace.
Every human being, whether he is conscious
of it or not, longs for the feeling of fulfillment that
will take him back to the Source and bring peace to
his soul. The ones who have achieved the inner journey,
and have reached Enlightenment, shine like lamps in
darkness, they are a light of hope in the inner night
of those who seek, showing us the path to ultimate freedom.
