| Mind is
an essential key which can give access to a higher level
of consciousness.
A key can be used to open a door but also to close it,
and when you live spirituality only with your intellect,
the access to consciousness is closed.
Mind is a very good way to access the edge of consciousness
but it is impossible to seize this dimension of life
trough it. Mind is a kind of raft very useful to cross
the river but which, once arrived at the other shore
prevents you from continuing your journey if you want
to carry on with it.
That's the whole point : you must use mind like a precious
instrument knowing that one day you will have to put
it aside. Otherwise it will become the most hazardous
hindrance in your evolution.
Mind has to give up the role of the
master for the one of the servant or it enchains you
and is an impediment for your conscience awakening.
This is the ego's death. Roles are swapped.
But to master mind you first have to know it. Mind likes
to conceive, to imagine, to philosophize, to argue,
to judge… ad infinitum. Thousands of opinions
are permanently confronted but what can they ad to Truth
?
Men's truths are countless and interchangeable
to one's liking. As for universal Truths, they are immutable
and eternal. True seekers know that these Laws can not
be revealed to you with the unceasing chit chat of mind
that only casts illusions.
Mind's aim and its very nature is to express its own
truth and not Truth.
Only conscience awakening gives you
access to universal Truths. But before reaching awakening,
you must one day give up all your certainties, your
prejudices, your truths, and make your mind silent,
to listen. It's only in silence that you can hear the
"voice". And you will have to learn to discern
this voice, this echo of your consciousness.
But silence is the hardest thing to
obtain, because it means the end of mind's supremacy,
and in a way, its death.
