| Passion
is the most formidable enemy of man. However he usually
considers it as a virtue. You are admired when you live
with passion. It is a mistake.
Passion is the greatest source of self-delusion. Passion
leads people to sacrifice everything without discernment
just for their passion.
At best it is a cause of blindness and suffering. At
worst it is destructive for oneself and for the others.
By passion you destroy yourself and you may even be
ready to kill people.
To believe that you can love passionately is to be mistaken.
True love is contradictory to passion. Passion arouses
your desire to possess the other and makes your ego
stronger.
Love commits you to gift, to surrender, to self-sacrifice,
to the benefit of your consciousness. When passion is
present in your life, it means that love is not, and
vice versa.
Passion comes from desire which is
the fruit of ignorance.
Love is the expression of your soul. It is the fruit
of Knowledge.
