| All the
sufferings of Men come from ignorance. And ignorance
begins with the lack of understanding of one's real
nature.
Man identifies himself with his body,
his mind, in other words his ego.
However this latter represents only our ephemeral and
changing dimension. And this identification with our
unsteady nature is the starting point of all our sufferings.
For Man in his innermost being longs for reaching lasting
aims such as eternal peace, love and happiness, that
his temporal dimension can not give him access to.
And this attraction is due to our soul which is eternal,
everlasting. But Man ignores it as long as his consciousness
is not awaken.
Consequently he continues his unceasing quest to reach
in the ephemeral world what can only be found in the
eternal world.
To reach his goal, Man must transcend
his ego so as to free his consciousness and by this
way reveal his unchanging and eternal nature. This is
the way, by the knowledge of his divine nature, Man
stops suffering while being incarnate. He is free and
remains in the fulfillment of his awaken consciousness.
He no longer identifies himself with his ego, he knows
he is united to God, to the Universal Consciousness.
He knows that leaving his mortal frame won't be the
end but he will carry on living. He knows that his true
nature is eternal. He has become aware that only the
illusion created by his ego had had set him apart from
God.
Once illusion has disappeared, only
God remains.
