I conceive
intelligence as our ability to live in harmony with
our environment.
I mean by environment all the components which constitute
our universe.
Intelligence is a potential present in each individual,
but seldom manifest at the origin. Most of us rather
cultivate the lack of intelligence from our early age.
Intelligence has nothing to do with our intellectual
abilities or our educational level. From this point
of view, every one can become very intelligent, even
the illiterate ones and people qualified of unintelligent.
On the contrary, the most erudite among us, as well
as those who have intellectual abilities higher than
the average, can behave like really stupid beings. The
examples are plethora in each country and at all the
times...
To be convinced of it you just have to consider the
relationships we generally have with our environment
: they are based on conflicts, wars, pollution of all
kinds, abusive production, control, cupidity...
For as much, stupidity that we express and cultivate
relentlessly throughout our life is not a fate.
Being stupid in the beginning does not prevent us from
becoming intelligent in a second time.
We all have the capacity to be stupid and we often
express it with brilliance, but each one can also become
intelligent with as much pugnacity and splendour.
It is a choice, and it is up to each one to get determined.
Expressing our intelligence is the only way to live
in peace with oneself, peace with others, and harmony
with the world.
This is also the essential precondition for consciousness
awakening. And it is finally the aim of each human being,
whether he is conscious or not.
A successful life is definitively not estimated with
our social or familial success or with the number of
children one has or what they will have undertaken or
not in their life.
No, a successful life only consists in not dying as
an idiot!
