" To be unintelligent
is not a problem as a preliminary,
but to stay like this is really regrettable ".
Intelligence is a specific quality of consciousness.
Stupidity is a major characteristic of our mind.
When an ego sees himself as intelligent
because he is “cultured” and takes advantage
from certain intellectual abilities, then he becomes
stupid. This is the reason why stupidity is so common
among most educated people.
A computer, although powerful and performing,
cannot become intelligent. It is the same for the mind.
It believes it is intelligent but nothing of the sort.
This quality is exclusively inherent in our consciousness.
Mind is only one potential relay. It can echo intelligence
or not but it does not have the faculty to produce it.
To become intelligent, you have to
reveal yourself to you.
It is useless to study the multiplicity
of the facets which make our ego, because our personality
is by nature imperceptible. It is conditioned by our
social and cultural environment, and fluctuates according
to our experience, sensorial perceptions and age.
To learn how to know oneself is to
discover the immutable dimension of our being.
By observation and introspection, one stands backs from
his ego, and develops his intuition. This latter is
the vector our consciousness uses to communicate with
our mind.
We feel what is right, which must or must not be done.
These perceptions do not depend on any reasoning. They
are not analytical but purely intuitive. It is the breath
of our consciousness that an attentive and receptive
mind perceives.
It is like a murmur, a whisper, a resonance
which will gradually diffuse then densify in our whole
being.
It is an act of Love. For this reason
it must be accepted, even better, be desired. Our consciousness
can in no way force us to listen to it, to like it.
Love is not a rape, it is a gift. And we give only to
those who ask for it openly. Thus it is necessary to
start by requesting our consciousness, and prepare the
favorable conditions to its advent. To its coming.
Our consciousness only asks to love
and guide us. We have to cease protecting ourselves,
wrapping ourselves in our prejudices and beliefs, but
rather welcome it as The one who comes. As Christ or
Buddha.
In this way, we allow intelligence
within us - our consciousness - to illuminate our thoughts
and our deeds.
The first act of intelligence consists
in living in harmony with our environment, the second
is to let shine our love.
