| Of
course, December 25th, symbol of the birth of Jesus,
is an appropriate time for awareness. For most of Christians,
it is one more opportunity to express fervently their
devotion towards the one who is one of the greatest
masters who have ever lived on Earth.
However, devotion to Jesus - and it may appear as a
paradox - may take us away from him and thus from the
profoundness of His message. All kinds of devotion create
a gap between the devotee and the object of devotion.
A devotee can't imagine himself resembling the object
of his devotion.
This is why I recommend you to thank,
to respect, to honor Jesus for the message He left to
us by dint of trials, sacrifices and sufferings but
not to make Him the object of your devotion.
For the best way to love Him and respect Him is to follow
His example.
Devotion must be towards the Christ
who became manifest within Jesus and who only asks to
do it within each of us. To be a Christ's devotee is
to accept to become His humble servant. It's to acknowledge
His role as a master and ours as a friend but also a
servant. By this attitude is Christ revealed within
man.
But Christ, I have to repeat it to
you, is within each of us. Thus it is for each, following
the example of Jesus, to do his, her way of the cross
so as to become in his, her turn the manifestation of
Christ on Earth.
You have to show discernment.
The Christ - or the Self - has to be
the object of your devotion, for He represents Man in
his highest dimension and above all it's his becoming.
On the other hand, man in his flesh, in his mortal dimension,
as an ego, even if he is the greatest Master, mustn't
become the object of your devotion. Nevertheless he
is a pattern to follow, the example of an exemplary
realization so as to walk in his footsteps.
This is why, I tell you, if you really
wish to prove your deepest respect to our brother Jesus,
don't bow down at his feet but do walk in his footsteps.
Don't kneel down to implore him but stand up and follow
his example and in your turn take on the responsibility
of your own way of the cross !That's the greatest proof
of love and gratitude you will ever give him.
A master doesn't try to be worshiped,
he only tries to bring a teaching. Only with your considering
him as a brother will he succeed in attaining his aim,
which is to help you to free yourself, so as from disciple
you become one day your own master.
So that one day the Christ becomes manifest in your
flesh too.
Thank you Jesus and thanks to all the
ones who left their teachings and brought so much love
to us.
May peace be with you for eternity.
And to all the readers of my message,
may you on this holy day, give birth to Christ within
yourself.
